AT PAVLODAR PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY NAMED AFTER ALKEY MARGULAN, A NEW RESEARCH LABORATORY TITLED “PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL SUPPORT” HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY OPENED.

The establishment of the laboratory has been implemented within the framework of the research program BR28712263, “Development of a Comprehensive Scientific and Innovative System for Training Pedagogical Personnel for the Advancement of Gifted Children in Kazakhstan”.

The laboratory is located in the main university building and is equipped with a modern sensory interactive environment, incorporating advanced high-tech equipment for the diagnosis, correction, and development of students’ psycho-emotional well-being.

The key areas of the laboratory’s activity include:

-      conducting scientific research in the field of psychological and pedagogical support;

-      developing and implementing innovative support technologies for students and educators;

-      studying stress factors and emotional burnout in the educational environment and designing measures to reduce them;

-      organizing scientific-methodological and consulting support;

-      supporting educational processes in line with contemporary requirements and challenges.

The laboratory is headed by PhD, Associate Professor Berik Aitbayuly Matayev.

Particular attention is given to creating a comfortable and safe environment, including the use of a Sensory Interactive Room equipped with interactive systems, VR technologies, neuro-headsets, and developmental modules.

The opening of the laboratory represents an important step in advancing the scientific and educational ecosystem of both the university and the region. It is aimed at improving the quality of training for future teachers and psychologists, as well as implementing evidence-based support practices within the regional education system.

We invite faculty members, students, and researchers to collaborate and participate in the laboratory’s projects.
